Our morning routine is a blur…wake ’em up, dress ’em, brush those teeth, shoes and coats on, remember the backpacks and lunch boxes, shove ’em out the door for the drive to school…all in a half hour. Breakfast? Not so much. It isn’t that I don’t try, but my kids aren’t particularly hungry in the morning, at least not first thing. And unfortunately, first thing is all we’ve got on weekdays.
