SmartSeat Chair Protector Review – “My kids love to go to my moms house, and we tend to go there for lunch “dates”. The only problem – my mom has big, overstuffed, kitchen chairs. They are super comfy, but the fabric is light yellow and stains are very noticeable. And no, she doesn’t have any type of chair covers for them. In the past, we have put towels down before the kids sit there. This works okay for most things, but spilled drinks … not so much. I was recently sent a SmartSeat Chair Protector and knew that it would be perfect to take with me to my moms! I will say – I was very impressed with how easy it was to put this on my mom’s chairs. They are rather large, and I didn’t have any problems getting the cover securely on. I did worry at first that they would make the seat a bit slippery for wiggly behinds. I was very {happily} surprised to see that my son actually sat better on it then he ever did on the towel! My mom was also impressed with the design and how well it protected her chairs. He ended up spilling his juice all over his lap. He was soaked, but the chair was fine! None of the juice managed to get through the waterproof cover, and because it completely covers the cushioned seat, it didn’t get on the sides either. I love that it is small enough that I can take it with me, and that it can be tossed in the washing machine when it gets dirty. I decided to leave it in my car (after I washed it of course!) so that I always have it when we are out visiting others.”
